Mylaps supplies measuring equipment and detection tools that are used during sports competitions to accurately monitor participants and measure individual performance.
These resources have traditionally been used for running, but now also for other sports such as skating and cycling.
Each participant can be uniquely traced and measured by using RFID transponders: a tiny receiver and transmitter with its own code that is recognized by the measuring system. A runner can easily mount such a transponder on the shoe.
Hexapole has developed and manages a number of specific applications that virtually automate the issuance of tags. The administrative handling (including payment processing) is also processed automatically and offered to the Mylaps back-office system. These applications are used at Mylaps in branches worldwide to quickly and accurately supply, maintain and repair RFID transponders to athletes and sports organizations.
Functional changes and extensions are regularly designed, built, tested and put into production at the request of Mylaps.
