The organisation
Hexapole Automatisering BV is located in Alkmaar and started in 1994. We specialize in, among other things, custom software, industrial automation, system and network management and the provision of cloud services. Our team is able to meet almost all automation needs. Our customers are located both in the Netherlands and abroad.
What are you going to do?
The department and customer base are growing. You are one of the points of contact. Our partners can rely on your vision and skills. The daily service calls must be prioritized and distributed among colleagues.
In short, the work comes down to the following:
- Support from our partners on the problems they report.
- Act proactively based on reports from the monitoring systems.
- Workplace management, installation, configuration of workstations.
- Management of Microsoft Server environments.
- Configuration and management of network components (Routers, switches, access points and VPN solutions);
- Manage configuration MS 365 environments.
At the same time, there are always projects going on. Migration projects with existing partners, or onboarding of new partners. You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in these processes. If it suits you, you can grow and be involved from inventories to technical advice, from quotation process to purchasing and implementation.
Who are you?
You are eager to learn, can work independently and you are flexible. You enjoy getting stuck into challenges and are able to find your own solutions. You also enjoy visiting our partners and giving them a good impression of Hexapole. Because the work is varied and you also visit partners to carry out on-site management, it is important that you have a driving license B.
What is your background?
Have you already gained work experience as a System Administrator? We are looking for a customer-oriented and proactive IT professional for 40 hours a week. Do you recognize yourself in the following characteristics?
- You have technical knowledge of:
- Setting up Windows 11.
- Setting up Microsoft 365 environments.
- Setting up Windows Server 2012 to 2019 is an advantage.
- Working with Active Directory is an advantage.
- Working with VMware solutions is an advantage.
- Working with the RDS environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of mail servers and mail migrations is an advantage.
- You fully master the Dutch language (speech, reading, writing).
- You have a sense of responsibility, a good sense of team spirit, a healthy dose of humor and the will to work together.
- Being able to provide telephone support and, where possible, handle problems directly by telephone.
- You are flexible and service-oriented (sometimes something still needs to be done after 5:00 PM).
- You would like to work in the Alkmaar region.
Do you already have Microsoft MCSA, MCSE certificates? That is an absolute advantage and otherwise we will help you with that. With us you get the opportunity to obtain or expand your certificates. We are happy to train you towards a full MCSE certification.
